"The Academy of Dance has several qualities that other studios don’t. They are not like any other studio. My daughter’s teacher always has age appropriate music and costumes. I always mention this specific quality when I recommend the studio. Parents want children to look their age, and I’m glad the studio teachers agree! I was extremely impressed at the production. I could see that just as much care went into the selection of other classes’ music, costumes and routines as my daughter’s class. It was a show I could take my friends and family to and be proud. It is so nice to have a studio in Fayetteville we can all be proud of!!

My three year old daughter has been a student at the Academy of Dance for over a year.  I love to watch her through the observation window.  I love the fact that her teacher varies the activities they do each week. I appreciate how she teaches them specific tap and ballet steps which they can build on later.  I also appreciate that she teaches them all sorts of moves and routines, not just the ones for the year end production."

"As soon as I found out Academy of Dance was enrolling students my daughters age I signed her up. I have been amazed at her teacher’s patience with the kids! She is teaching them so much, but they are also having lots of fun. As a parent and a pre-school teacher I know how challenging two and three year olds can be. Yet my daughter’s teacher has been able to teach them to follow directions and to really love dance at the same time.  Even thought the girls are taking a ballet class they are being taught body movements such as how to wiggle their noses and forward rolls. This is so impressive and developmentally appropriate for their age. You should see my little girl at preschool. She lines up her friends and teaches them dance moves she has learned."

"I am so thankful that we live in a town with a studio like the Academy of Dance. One of the biggest factors that sets them apart from other studios is its willingness to work with young children. My family is especially looking forward to the year end production. The Academy of Dance really goes the extra mile to help parents by altering costumes. They take care of all the back stage preparations so the parents can relax and enjoy the show. Providing each family with a souvenir DVD of the performance ensures we can all enjoy watching my daughter again and again for years to come. Finally, the Academy of Dance provides scholarship opportunities not available at other studios in the area."

"My daughter loves her leotard, tights and shoes she wears to class. She has always loved music and movement. The Academy of Dance is teaching her to improve the movements and learn new ones through basic balance and motor function exercises. Her instructors are helping reinforce the lessons of taking turns and following directions that we are trying to teach her at home as well. Academy of Dance understands that children our daughter’s age have a short attention span. Her teacher instructs the class accordingly with the patience needed for a younger class. The instructors make the class fun, which keeps our daughter wanting to go back. The Academy of Dance is a wonderful place for kids to learn about different types of dance and other fundamental social skills. It is a great place and we would recommend them to anyone who wants to get their children into dance."
